SSO, Microsoft Entra ID or SCIM

Overview

Matrix Booking offers single sign-on (SSO) and directory integrations between your organisation’s directory and Matrix Booking. This document gives an overview of our SSO and Entra ID integrations:

Once you have setup SSO and Entra ID, you’ll need to supply Matrix Booking with your credentials, as outlined in the ‘Matrix Booking's SSO and Microsoft Entra ID integrations’ link above.

Matrix Booking provides detailed guidance on how to set up the two-way sync, back-end integration between Matrix Booking and Microsoft 365:

Certificate Download for Microsoft 365 Calendar Integration

As part of the Microsoft 365 Calendar Integration setup, a certificate file is required as outlined in the above set up guide. Below you will find the download link for two versions of this file, one in .txt format and the other in .crt format. If your system only permits the download of the .txt file, manually rename the file extension from .txt to .crt to proceed with the integration.

Microsoft 365 add-in

Matrix Booking also offers the Microsoft 365 add-in, which compliments our 365 calendar integration. The add-in will provide additional information and booking options during the booking journey, as it sends a user directly to the resource within Matrix Booking rather than outlook. This is also recommended when you have combination rooms set up within your organisation:

Microsoft Teams integration

Overview

Matrix Booking can integrate with Teams meaning that a teams invite can be added to Room bookings made from within Matrix Booking.
