Solution

There is a documented issue with Microsoft Outlook where it can over-report the startup time of any add-in (specifically the order in which any add-ins are loaded) if it is the first to require certain system dlls (for example, .NET runtime).

Microsoft has created a workaround that your IT team can apply to your device so that it’s always enabled. Contact your IT team and ask them to:

  1. Follow the workaround .

  2. Enter your added key –MatrixAddin2013

The normal add-in load time is 1.3 seconds. A slow load time is anything greater than this. Microsoft’s workaround also outlines how to stop a slow load time warning message for popping up.
