Using SSO to bypass the login page

If you have SSO in place then you may wish your staff to “bypass” the Matrix Booking log in page if they are already logged in to SSO, we can do this by providing a dedicated url to use.

For example, you might want to add a link to Matrix Booking to an intranet page that, when clicked, takes the user directly into Matrix Booking without the login page. This can be achieved by providing users with an SSO redirect link. The URL for this link is unique for each customer and so can be requested from our Support Team by raising a support ticket here.

For organisations with multiple SSO integrations in place, you will be provided with a different URL per SSO integration. Note that the SSO redirect link works by forwarding the user to the corresponding SAML identity provider (IdP) or OAuth authorisation server. The user may be required by the IdP / authorisation server to authenticate first if they are not already authenticated / logged in. If the user is already authenticated, they will be taken directly into the Matrix Booking web app without the need to authenticate again. This option only works on the web app. It is currently not possible when using the mobile app.
