What push notifications does the mobile app send?

Solution

If you allow notifications to be sent to your mobile from the Matrix Booking mobile app, you’ll receive 3 types of push notifications:

  • When it’s time to check in.

  • When your booking is auto-cancelled.

  • When your visitor has arrived (to you as the host).

If you or your staff aren’t sure if they have enabled notifications for the mobile app, ask them to:

  1. Use the Settings app.

  2. Search for “notifications”.

  3. Navigate to Matrix Booking.

  4. Select Allow notifications (or equivalent).

If this hasn’t worked or there’s a different issue, contact your IT team and they will be able to switch these notifications on for you.
