Product update – June 2022

Hello everyone,

Instead of a 'here is what we have just released' this update is to give you advance warning of some changes that will alter the look and feel of Matrix Booking ever so slightly. 
As I am sure you are all aware we have a new brand and logo (shown at the top of this email) and unfortunately we have not been able to roll this new branding out across our whole product range yet. This has mainly been due to all of the challenges that COVID-19 brought and the shift to developing new features very quickly to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Now we have been able to focus further on this area and to ensure our new branding becomes more consistent across everything we do.

There is more information on this below and also some screenshots to give you a flavour of the changes, and if you have created any of your own documentation then you may wish to refresh this with the newer look so it reflects what your staff will see.

This change is planned for July 21st 2022. 

Clearly operational issues always take priority so there may be a need to delay this a little, however in order to give you at least four weeks notice we will not change this before that date.

If you have any questions about this then please feel free to reach out to your account manager as usual.

Updated log in screen

You and your teams will see design improvements to our login page over the coming months. The changes will bring a huge improvement to the look and feel of the login process without compromising functionality. The introduction of our new Matrix Booking logo here, colour scheme update and smoother user journey enhances our consistency for you. Our newly designed login page can be seen below:

The “Powered by Matrix Booking” logo will also be updated in line with our new branding. This will help bring greater consistency between the web application and our other products which you may already be using.

Additionally, it will help your staff members know they are in the right place and using the right the tools for their work.

Rolling series of brand updates

The new improvements are part of our ongoing brand updates that will see an improved look and feel across our entire suite of products and applications. We will continue to make these improvements over the next few months. We are committed to making designs that produce consistency in terms of the quality and appearance of our products as well as the use of tools to involve our diverse customer base in this process.
Therefore if you have created any of your own documentation that uses screenshots then you may wish to schedule in some updates to these to incorporate the new logo and colours.
Our help guides and Admin guides will also be updated as soon as these changes go live.

Supporting Information

Our Administrators Guide was a PDF document that is now 100 pages long. Therefore we have made the decision to retire the PDF version and migrate this online. So you can now access the Administrators Guide online via the Support Portal . To access this, just visit the support portal, log in, and click the search box and enter ADMIN GUIDE and you should be directed to the new online version. Here is a direct link (but this does need a support portal log in and as an administrator you should have one of these so please contact us if you do not).
