Over the weekend we released a new version of the Matrix Booking web application with further features and improvements. You do not need to do anything to benefit from this as it will be the version you see when you next access Matrix Booking .
New Features
Ability to change the end date of a repeat booking in the web app
Previously when editing a repeat booking, it was not possible to change the end date of the whole series. A change has been made so that a user is now able to extend the series using the same repeat pattern:
Ability to edit global location settings
On the Locations and Resources screen, it is now possible for administrators to maintain the following tabs at the global level for the organisation:

Roles

Availability
-
Settings
-
Options
The settings at the global level will inherit down to the rest of the hierarchy. In addition, the organisation name and time zone can also now be changed at this level (If you would like the time zone setting enabled, please raise a support ticket using the normal support process)
Allow up to 3 booking reminders for a resource
The booking reminders setting has been enhanced to allow up to 3 booking reminders to be set for different periods. This can be set on the Notifications section under Settings against a location or resource:
The ‘Your upcoming bookings’ email sent to the host will only show bookings that fall on a reminder setting and will be displayed in order of date and then by time.
Support for bookings repeating every 4 weeks
When creating a recurring booking, a new option has been added to create a booking that repeats every four weeks:
Note: This will be available in the web app only but will be added to upcoming versions of the mobile apps.
Accessibility Improvements

Improved support for keyboard navigation for the bookings calendar view, the date picker and the location image gallery.

The page title displayed by the browser now includes a brief description of the page.

The all bookings chart view now allows viewing of the chart data in tabular format.

Technical improvements to better support users of screen readers and other assistive technologies.

After selecting "View on Map" to show the overlay, the tab key does not allow the user to focus on the screen behind the overlay.
Fixes in release 57

End Early confirmation pop-up was incorrectly showing Cancel Booking button, now it shows End Early button.

Security/User/Domain Groups screens weren’t always loading correctly.

Users weren’t receiving confirmation emails for Monthly recurring series.

The spacing between header items was uneven.
