Repeat booking |
A booking repeated on selected days as a series. You choose how often it repeats and when it ends. Each booking can be edited separately. |
|
Multi-day booking |
A single booking spanning multiple days with a start and end date and time. It’s not part of a series, so any changes made apply only to that booking. |

Access to repeat and multi-day bookings
By default, your organisation will be set up to use repeat bookings.
If you need multi-day bookings for your organisation:
-
Select Admin in the navigation bar.
-
Select Location and resources under the Location Settings section in the side menu.
-
Select Edit hierarchy. Your Locations and resources hierarchy will appear.
-
Select Edit next to the location or resource. The Edit [Location or Resource] dialog will appear with the General tab selected by default.
-
Select the Settings tab.
-
Select the correct resource using the booking category selector.
-
Select the Override global settings or Override [location or resource] checkbox under the Advanced booking rules section.
-
Check if any of the checkboxes are greyed out. If they are, this means that these settings are inherited from a higher level in your hierarchy. You may have them switched on at that level for a reason.
-
If you want to allow a single booking (and not a repeated booking) to be spread over multiple days, select the Allow multi-day bookings checkbox.
-
Select either of the following and the dialog will close to return you to the Locations and resources hierarchy:
-
Save to keep you changes.
-
Close to discard your changes.
-
Notes:
-
You can make a multi-day booking a repeat booking and it becomes a multi-day booking series.
