What is the difference between 'REPEAT BOOKING' and 'MULTI-DAY BOOKING' and which should I use?
Solution / Answer
By default, your organisation will be set up to use the standard REPEAT BOOKING option as this is the normal requirement.
Some customers have certain needs that mean MULTI-DAY is better for them, and this can be requested to be added to your set up if needed - simply raise a support ticket through the web support tool in order to request this.
REPEAT BOOKING - this is a normal booking that effectively takes copies of the original and repeats it on multiple days. This allows you to schedule on certain days eg weekly or monthly, but more importantly allows you to EDIT each instance individually, so one week the meeting can be cancelled or moved to a later time. The bookings are linked but also are editable in their own right. Plus, if need be you can change the the 'Until' date at a later date e.g. to increase the period from finishing on 14th Jan to 10th March (you'll have to select 'Edit all remaining bookings in this series' when editing the booking to see and change the date). As of SEPT 20' - only available on Web App.

MULTI-DAY BOOKING- these are bookings that 'span' multiple days. They can last two or three days, weeks, months or even years. This effectively creates ONE booking across that time period so is much more efficient if you have lots of these type of bookings, but as it is ONE booking it can be edited but not on individual days, a change impacts the whole booking. But if you have a booking for a month then this style will simply show you one booking, rather than a daily booking so is much more efficient for viewing and management.
